The view of the canyon is amazing, such likeness. It's as though I'm watching a scene from a video game. Great job Scott

You have very interesting work Scott. I like your concept with the astronaut in every piece. Totally cool. Keep it up

Exceptional work, Scott, I like this "poster" style the way you excecute it, a realism without being too fussy and overworked. I think you have a great future with your original take on things and by resisting the temptation to use computer generated artwork. Mike

I admire your sci-fiction style. Do you use oil paints or acrylic?

Great painting! (I wonder what Jeff Koons would think) Love your technique btw...the mosaic texture of the paint is really exciting...your body of work here is impressive and an interesting take on society... more please!

Thanks for the comments, everyone. Sorry I'm so late in responding. To answer a few questions: All my originals are done in oil on canvas. I do use computer aided drawing techniques in the early stagesof my works, but the finished products are all firmly analog. This particular painting was a real challenge. I don't consider myself much of a landscape artist, and every time I do something even half this complex, I swear it will be the last time. But then I go and do it again.

Ive done that also, using the computer to make sketches, then have access to printer that can print 18 inches wide. Print on canvas, stretch it. Then Over paint, saves a lot of time and work, then actually is painted in acrylics and water mixable oils... with nothing of the original sketch visible. BOB Nadine paints the "old fashioned way" from scratch, sketching on the canvas. :)
